SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.... It always amazes me that those who have seemingly made it completely forget how they made it, who got them over it, and the cost they paid to get where they are. Jesus told Peter, after you are converted (i. e., after you have made it) strengthen (reach back and help) your brothers (Luke 22:32). The Holy Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, even boldly reminds us that God comforts (strengthens, equips, empowers, establishes) us so that we can comfort (strengthen, equip, empower, establish) others (1 Corinthians 1:4)....not with a spirit of arrogance, self-righteousness or pride, but with a spirit of Godly love and compassion - THATS TRUE DISCIPLESHIP 101. Why must there be an attitude of I got mine, now you get yours in the church? After all, arent we working for the same Master?....arent we in the same body? Or are we? Didnt The Master declare By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35 ESV). Lord, may I never forget how I got over.....!! Amen.
