SOMETIMES GOD SPEAKS THROUGH CHILDREN! How true, I have seen this many a time in my life. My very active grandson finds it difficult to sit still for long periods of time. At times the word is ministered for an hour, and lacks concentration so he cant always remember what was preached. However, yesterday the Pastor preached on SHATTERED DREAMS. When asked by his aunty, what was the message today. He knew almost the whole message, to my amazement. In the evening when I went on FB he says, gran, please send this message to your friends, I will even type it out slowly for you! I know it is going to help a lot of people pleeeeze gran! So friends I am going to send that message to you throughout the day, in bits and pieces as it is long. And I just feel it is right, because I read some messages this morning which a few people quoted on Job, and this message was from Job 16, 17 and 19, some of the verses. I believe it is confirmation! PART 1. We all have DREAMS! When a dream is shattered what do you do? How do you move on with your life when all goes up in smoke? How do you recover from shattered dreams, especially when your hopes are shattered? We get disillusioned, and want God to hear us. Job 16:22, in a few more years I will go to that place of no return. He felt his life was passing away. His plans and hopes were gone. No one can predict how long they will live! 17:11 he says, there is not enough time to complete my plans, almost convinced of that. Some think it is never going to happen, but God put us on earth for a purpose. We feel we have failed God, our families, communities and even ourselves. Exactly what was Job’s shattered dreams? He wanted children because they died and wanted to pass on a legacy. When Job was sick and smelling because of his sickness, his wife, family and friends rejected him. What are the desires, dreams and aspirations you want to accomplish? Is your life meaningful and going the direction you want it to go? Psalm 37 says God will give you the desires of your heart!!!!
