SOMETIMES LESS IS MORE: The aim when resistance training is to maximize tension on the muscles and stimulate the CNS (central nervous system). When resting between sets you usually have a predetermined rest time which would depend on your goal. Hypertrophy, strength, endurance etc.... every so often, try a workout where you half your normal rest time but keep the weight as close to the usual weight you would use. This will force the body and all of its systems to work harder and give the effect of pushing heavier. Just a BKS tip coming at ya...Have a good day :)
