SONG of the DAY, for Saturday, September 20 th , 2014. Our theme is academy award winning and nominated songs from the 1930s and on. Its 1936, right in the middle of the Great Depression ...this classic song says it all, about the hope , that things would get better, PENNIES FROM HEAVEN , ...Bing Crosby sings it from the film of the same name. This wasnt even the winner that year...that was one of my favorites...and I must remember to play this before the month is up.
