SONKO vows to deal squarely with HASSAN OMAR/ JOHO for doing this to UHURU/ RUTO Monday August 4, 2014 - Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has vowed to teach Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and Senator, Omar Hassan, a lesson they will never forget for belittling President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, during Idd Baraza. Speaking yesterday, Sonko noted that he will not sit back and watch as former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s sycophants soil the good names of our beloved Uhuru and Ruto. This follows Joho’s assertions that Uhuru Kenyatta is too small for him and therefore can’t engage him, a remark that rubbed Sonko and other Jubilee diehards the wrong way. Similarly, Omar Hassan took a swipe on Uhuru/ Ruto during Idd Baraza, accusing them of doing little to end historical land injustices at the Coast, something he credited for the wave of violence in Lamu, Tana River and Mombasa Counties. However, Sonko put them on notice warning them to stop mentioning Uhuru/ Ruto’s names in vain, otherwise they will have him to contend with. “For God’s sake, it was Idd Baraza and they should not have insulted the President and his Deputy the way they did. We are going to teach them how to respect the Presidency,” said Sonko.
