SOOOOO TRUE!!!! As much as I encourage people to interact, relax, work and generally spend time with their pets, PLEASE do not ever do that if you are in a bad mood. If youve been fired, cut off in traffic, lost your wallet, whatever; and you have the crap I have to go feed/walk/train/exercise the _________________ (horse/dog/goat/cat/parrot, etc) attitude, please walk away. Get someone else to do it, or do the minimum feeding/care needed, then walk away. If you feel that angry, your animal will sense it and usually perform worse then ever, only making you more angry, possibly now misdirecting that anger at the animal. Stop. Take a break. Interact with your pet when you can do so only on positive terms.
