SOPHIE UPDATE: Dear Sophie had a 6 hour surgery yesterday and came through, although she is very weak. He had an abcess between her liver and stomach which was causing the spike in white blood cells. Shes on oxygen because her red blood cells are low. Shes receiving pain medicine and antibiotics through IV. Sophie is in CRITICAL CONDITION. Our vet and her nurse stayed through the night to ensure her well being. We are SOOOO grateful! Sophie is a fighter and still has a very long way to go. Her foster mom will be able to see her tomorrow and we hope for more pictures. In the meantime, please continue to donate.
