SOS, SOS, SOS Dear all, we are once again calling on your support to help SAVE THE LIVES of our brothers and sisters facing deportation as we speak! Please pay your urgent attention to the following case: Around 166 people from Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia were caught by the police at the border between Egypt, Sudan and Libya. The Egyptian authorities have threatened to deport them to their country of origin. Father Mussie Zerai from Agenzia Habeshia was contacted by one of these refugees, who told him that during the capture, 4 young women and a baby disappeared; it seems like the smugglers who brought the group in the car, fled taking the 4 women and the baby with them. These 4 women were part of the group of 68 Eritreans, including 53 males, 19 women and a baby. We demand the immediate intervention from UNHCR to prevent these people from deportation. The Egyptian authorities are transferring the group to Aswan, from where the authorities should proceed to their deportation. Kindly advise urgently on how you can assist. We are looking forward toyour response. Sincerely,
