Its open to everyone equally but providers like Comcast and AT&T want companies like Amazon to pay a premium fee for access. Companies who use more bandwidth like Netflix could be forced to pay more. Experts say the charges would likely be paid by customers. Pres. Barack Obama wants the FCC to adopt rules that will keep the internet free & open. But in order to do so, officials may need to regulate the internet like other public utilities.
