SPD NEWS - HIT & RUN FATALITY UPDATE, A MESSAGE FROM PATRIOT PRIVATE SECURITY On December 25th 2014, at 11:10 P.M. Patriot Security Officers located the suspect vehicle involved in the hit and run of Jimmy Pendergrass. They were able to provide the Stockton Police Department dispatcher with the vehicle location and license plate. The Security Officers stood by until the police arrived and made an arrest. A few days’ prior to the arrest Patriot Security Officers were briefed on the location of the hit and run and the description of the suspect vehicle. The Security Officers were instructed to call the police immediately if the vehicle was found. Due to the fact that we work in the area on a daily basis we become familiar with common vehicles and faces. We wanted to help the Stockton Police Department bring some closure to the family of the retired police officer. He was described to us as a very good man.
