SPD NEWS - HOME INVASION ROBBERY On December 8, 2014, at 2:55 pm, Officers were called to a residence in the 1000 block of Klemeyer Circle on a report of a residential robbery. When Officers arrived, they met with a 72 year old man and a 66 year old woman. Both told Officers the suspect was armed with a handgun and ransacked a room inside their house. At one point, the suspect hit the woman in the head with the handgun. The suspect then stole the victims white 2000 BMW 740 IL, 4 door, license # 4KBP343. The suspect was described as a black male, 59 to 60, 160 lbs., and was last seen wearing dark clothing. The woman was transported to a local area hospital to be treated for her injuries which were non life threatening.
