SPEAK WITH MY DAD!!!!! This morning I keep thinking of You Remembering all the virtues and academic clues The discipline, counsel and Your pieces of advice Telling what traits would for my life suffice On hindsight I wish I had fully listened and heeded Then by this point I would have fully succeeded Although many would be contented to be where I am at To whom much is given, much is expected remains my elusive fact I know I gave you a living hell and many times your buttons I pushed Yet, you proved the Liberian axiom, A bad child has no bad bush It was the civil war that gave me a rude awakening By then the effects of my failures were for you very sickening Thank God, we had a chance to in this life reconcile And in your latter years my activities made you to smilE But today, I miss you more than any other time Your death now seems a punishment for my earlier crimes If I could have another chance or another moment with you Dad That would make me very very very supernaturally glad I will daringly dream a didactic dream that I pray would never never end Cause I want to speak with my Dad as a close friend.
