*SPECIAL ADOPTION UPDATE* Nessa is a 5-year-old dilute torbie who was originally brought to CACC as a biter. Sadly, this label is almost always a death sentence at animal control. We later found out that there was no bite report, just a scratch, because she clung onto her owner for dear life as she was being handed over the counter. Who could blame her? She wanted to live! Within moments of meeting her, we knew that she didnt have a vicious bone in her little body and we had to find a way to save her. Someone clearly had neglected this sweet cat because she had one of the worst mouths our vet has ever seen, requiring multiple dental extractions and extensive deep cleaning. Lucky for Nessa, some wonderful fosters decided to open their hearts and home to her. She is the most affectionate, loving cat we have ever met, so its easy to see why her foster family fell in love with her and couldnt let her go. Congratulations, Nessa, on meeting your purrfect match. We are confident you will be spoiled rotten in your new home!
