SPECIAL PEOPLE HELPING SPECIAL FAMILIES ... An OPAL family this year will benefit from an ongoing partnership between OPAL and The Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME), a research institute within the University of New Brunswick. Faculty, staff and students at IBME have participated in the OPAL Christmas Family Project for three years, under the coordination of Angela Hamilton and Dr. Chris McGibbon. It was the enthusiastic response of the IBME team in 2012 that encouraged the OPAL staff to expand the project to include additional families.
