SPECIAL PRAYER FOR GHANA, MY MOTHERLAND. God our Father, Giver of life, we entrust our beloved nation Ghana to Your loving care. You are the rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your people. Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation´s leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind us that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will. Help us to understand that though we belong to different political parties, you are the only one who wills and allow the existing leaders to exist in the first place. You establish and demolish thrones. Help us to understand your word so that regardless of the Supreme Court decision on our election, we can stay together as one people with a common destiny. Grant the Justices wisdom, knowledge, understanding and courage to be true to the evidence before them. We trust that at the end of this case, anyone declared as President, will the person you have selected and prepared to be our leader. Help us as a Country to love each other, cheerish our peace and have faith and confidence in your divine redemption. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
