SPECIAL SHOW:::::::August 15th, 1967, right in the middle of the Summer of Love, was a very sad day for music lovers and radio buffs as the infamous Marine Offences Act closed almost all of the pirate radio ships thus depriving millions of people of their favourite programmes. Radio Bute will be marking this sad anniversary with a special programme on Sunday afternoon at 2pm when Mike and Pete will be looking at the history which led to the establishment of the radio ships and looking at what came afterwards along with their legacy as well as playing some of the music from that fateful month of August 1967 Let us know any of your memories of that time. mb
