Today we left home at 5 AM for Minneapolis to pick up pair #8 and do x-rays. Jennas post untethering surgery x-rays were one of those moments, as a parent, you had to take a deep breath and not let the tears fall. The surgery helped straighten her legs however it did nothing for her scoliosis. Her scoliosis continued to curve more. With a neurogenic spine...bracing will not help. More core strengthening here we come. Pray for Jenna as she grows. ..curvature over 50 degrees requires surgery. The picture shows how much change from Feb 2013 on the right and today on the left. Ugh. Jenna and I made it home with no flat tires and just enough time to complete our 1 1/2 hour bathroom routine. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for Jenna and all the other people living with Spina Bifida this month. #mySBhero
