SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS MONTH DAY 11 SCRIPTURE: 1 Timothy 2:1–4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. PRAYER POINTS: 1. Thank God for your nation. Thank Him for the land and all the resources He has blessed you with. Thank God for the diverse people groups who are part of your country. Speak Gods blessing upon the land. 2. Intercede for those in leadership. Ask the Lord to burden the hearts of the leaders with the real needs of the citizens; pray that righteous will be exalted in the lives of all public servants. Ask God to bless your land with wise leaders. 3. Intercede for the citizens. Ask the Lord to draw each citizen of your nation unto Himself; pray that the glory of the Lord will overshadow the lives of the people. Speak God’s blessing upon the citizens of your nation
