SPOILS OF WAR! She saw it as it happened. Perched in a treetop where she felt relatively safe from the battle erupting all around her, LeAnn M Weaver saw Cupidsart standing literally hip deep in the bodies of the fallen. There was an oddly mouthwatering smell in the air that LeAnn could only imagine was coming from the chainsaw this Killer of Many held in his hands. The rumbling machine smoked profusely as it cooked the blood coating its engine. Once the man was gone LeAnn climbed down from her safe position among the birds to investigate. She thought she had seen something fall from the mans backpack as he slaughtered his foes. She was right. There it was sitting in a congealing pool of deep red... a gold coin. Unfortunately for her someone else had seen this glimmering treasure. Jennifer Cogan was only a few feet away hiding beneath the bodies of the dead. Her own skin sticky with the life essence of those who once were.
