The University of Detroit Mercy lost to Wright State 64-53 last night at Calihan Hall. Anton Wilson was the only Titans player to score in double-digits, ending the night with 15 points. Oakland University let an 11 point half-time lead slip away, but held on to beat Cleveland State 59-56 last night at the Orena. The two sides have agreed to a one-year contract that CBSSports reports is worth 1.725-million-dollars. Albuquerque was 3-and-1 with a 2.51 ERA in a career-high 72 games with the Tigers last season. The 28-year-old right-hander is 13-and-5 with a 2.82 ERA, all out of the bullpen, since making his big league debut with Detroit in 2011. The New England Patriots have arrived in Arizona for Super Bowl 49. The Patriots earned their eighth Super Bowl appearance in team history following a 45-7 rout of the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game. The Pats are seeking a fourth championship and first since 2004. The Seahawks are looking to become the first repeat Super Bowl champion since the Patriots did it in the early 2000s.
