SPORTS UPDATE WITH EMMAH ATAI: Tottenham have confirmed that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has signed a new five-year contract with the club, ending speculation of a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain or Monaco. Luis Suarez is on the brink of officially completing his sensational transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona after the terms of a deal worth just over £70 million were agreed on last night. Liverpool will now look to strengthen their squad using some of the money from the Suarez deal.
