SPOTTED SEA TROUT WTWW! = Winter Time Water Warmer! We are still having a pretty good bite, but some fish as I have reported are too short meaning right below the legal keeping size of 13 inches tail length. However, some catches were all way over legal trout measuring in at around 15” and better. So I say, “If you get the chance to go I suggest just going!” Best bait is always going to be the live stuff such as live shrimp and mud minnows….but once you get the bite going you most likely can switch to artificial patterns or flukes! Here are a few winter time fishing tips: When you have an opportunity to fish a low or high tide, which happens around 10:00 AM, this is a good thing. You will be able to fish the entire incoming/outgoing tide during the warmest part of the day. Straight up sun shine is great winter time water warmer for sure! If you apply this tip to your fish day you will find that it works like a charm. The best tip of all is “if you think like a fish you are most likely going to catch one!”
