SPS! -sorry long post- So I am still new here but am loving all the great help people do on here. I havent introduced myself yet and have just been lurking. I work with a little bit of a different medium than a lot on here. My name is Brianna and I am a Professional Special Effects Makeup Artist! I do have a degree in it as well. My goal is to bring, and allow more safe SPX Makeup for cosplayers and co-goers at conventions. From airbrushing and face paint, to full foam latex appliances and effects! I have had a couple of tables at Katsucon before and hope to go back next year for another table. :) I also do props and Costumes! I DO HAVE SOME QUESTIONS I WOULD LOVE FEEDBACK ON! 1) I always try to request a full wall table because it allows me more room to work with and have people sit, ect. IF i were HAVE to share a table, what are some concerns (if any) you guys would have? Im afraid to apply to some cons because I cannot afford full table spaces all the time and am afraid people would have negative thoughts on having a makeup artist next to them. Is there anything I could do possible to help for those situations not to happen? 2) I know saving up for any kind of stock or for supplies is hard. I see people do a lot of kickstarters, ect. Are those effective? 3) What are some things you would like to see possibly from me? :) Even if you dont know much about Special effects makeup, think Zombie makeup and fantasy makeup. So from Elf ear tips, to ripped up faces and vampire bites! lol Anything you think would be awesome to see?? Can be character themed too! You guys are awesome! :)
