SQL Custom Report Writer position JHB North Job Specification The SQL Custom Report Writer will be responsible for the creation and management of SQL customized reports. This resource will analyse, design, develop, implement, and evaluate custom reports to meet client requirements. This will involve some database management, MS SQL and C# coding. Responsibilities Report scoping, design, development, testing, debugging, implementation, and management of reports using SQL databases. Establish routine, to moderately complex, reporting solutions. Work with Developers/BA to comprehend business processes and report requirements for assigned projects. Responsible for developing report-related documentation. Provide on-going support and maintenance. Assist with advanced queries to optimise SQL efficiency and performance. Requirements: Skills: Strong technical background and experience in Microsoft Transact-SQL. Excellent communication and analytical skills and a highly professional attitude are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-orientated, dedicated and reliable individual with exceptional organisational skills. Emphasis on diligence, competence and thoroughness. Capable of working under pressure to meet strict deadlines. MS Office proficient. SQL database management. Experience: Relevant Microsoft Certification. 2 - 3 years’ experience in Report Writing/Microsoft Transact-SQL. Experience or knowledge of C# an advantage. Contract and Remuneration: Starting with a 6 month fixed term contract, with the option to go permanent thereafter. Total Cost to Company is 10-15K per month, depending on experience Plus medical aid allowance of R820.
