SRB question for my military folks. I extended my enlistment and under the AFI for extensions (at that time: 2013), I was entitled to a bonus if in an SRB career field if I extended for no less than 3 years. Bonus would not be paid till I entered my extension. That was 8 days ago. Since then I have not received payment and upon a visit to finance they spoke to me like I was a moron and told me there is no bonus in my career field. Showed them my paperwork stating I will receive a 6 multiplier on July 7 2014, to which they said they have never heard of someone getting a bonus for an extension. I had the reg in hand that I wanted to show to them to which they said: I go to tech school for this, I know the reg better than you, I dont come to your unit and tell you how to fix a plane do I? I hate finance. Anyways, should it take longer than a week to get my bonus? Is there someone else I can speak to to rectify this? I have copied of all my documentation.
