SRINAGAR 07-08-13:Chairman APHC Syed Ali Geelani while reiterating his appeal for peaceful demonstrations after Eid prayers against the issues related to secret execution of Mohammad Afzal Guroo followed by brutal killings of Tahir Ahmad Sofi,Mudasir Kamran,Ubair Mushtaq,Tariq Ahmad Bhat,Ab Rashid Sheikh,MohammudYusuf Sofi,Hajra Begum,Riyaz Ahmad khanday,and Altaf Ahmad wani by Indian forces ,Markundal Sumbal episode, Desecration of Holly Quran in Gool Ramban,continued house detention of Syed Ali Geelani and detention of political prisoners. Syed Ali Geelani said that despite tall claims made by Omer Abdullah led administration about peace and stability, the killing of innocent continues unabated and state terrorism was at its peak. While in his appeal. Syed Ali Geelani stressed people to celebrate Eid ul Fitr in a dignified and simple way and added that keeping in view the present grave situation when with each passing day we shoulder the coffins of our near and dear one’s and added that we should not ignore the fact that our youngsters are offering precious sacrifices for freedom with in ambit of Islam..Wednesday ,Syed Ali Geelani while commenting over uproar in Parliament and rhetoric created by electronic and print media over the killing of 5 forces personals on border ,said that though it is comprehensible that a country loses his five young soldiers and added that however a criminal silence is observed when , in Jammu and Kashmir innocent civilians are killed, and even not a single person comes to express his sympathy. Syed Ali Geelani while referring to the secret execution of Mohammad Afzal Guroo said that in his case all norms were ignored and the demand for return of mortal remains turned down. Though Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Sigh in a bid to mislead world opinion said that authorities should have Informed his family before his execution but instead of continous protest demonstration and killing six innocents ,the demand for return of mortal remains was turned down. Syed Ali Geelani expressed grief over the way the authorities reacted to Gool Incident and added that a simple and formal ‘sorry ’won’t help and while recalling the episode ,said that forces in a deliberate attempt desecrated Holly Quran and assassinated four innocents. Markandal incident was not discussed in Indian parliament while referring to the brutal killings of two youth at Markundal Sumbal ,said Syed Ali Geelani and criticizing the role played by Parliament and added that administration while smelling the mode and to quill anger of the people ,announced the investigations,however, the affords and plans were being formulated to provide benefit of doubt to the accused. Syed Ali Geelani said that 574 persons affiliated to the movement are detained and despite court orders are not released even on the eve of Eid ul Fitr. I am being denied the right to offer prayers and forcibly confined to my residence, said Syed Ali Geelani and added that this type of lawlessness though being formulated in Delhi but it is Omer Abdullah who as a stooge practices these.Hurriyat Chairman said that situation demands that we should tell the world about the prevailing grave situation in Kashmir and the excesses and atrocities being perpetrated by India and convey a message to international community that people of Jammu and Kashmir are demonstrating against the forced occupation of India and state terrorism . #3#
