SRINAGAR, June 29: Parvez Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Dooru Tangmarg sprinkled kerosene oil on himself as well as on his 5 year old son Sahil Parvez and set both ablaze. Both were shifted to Sub District Hospital Tangmarg for treatment, where from they have been referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. A case FIR number 60/2013 under section 309, 307 RPC registered in this regard. A 35 years old lady (name with held) resident of Haji Node, Karnah, Kupwara attempted to commit suicide at her home by sprinkling kerosene oil upon herself. The lady rescued and shifted to hospital Karnah by her relatives, where from she has been referred to SMHS, Srinagar for further treatment. Meanwhile an old aged woman died and four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A Sumo (JK01K- 8481) hit and injured a pedestrian Fazil Bashir son of late Bashir Ahmad Darzi resident of Wuyan, Mahmood Abad near Wuyan, Awantipora, resulting in his on spot death. A Tata 407 ( JK03-4588) and Motorcycle ( JK13-6633) collided near Green tunnel,Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Mohammad Ashraf Jamshid son of Abdul Samad resident of Buchoo, Tral and Shabir Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Tral. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A Sumo (JK14A-0941 ) hit and injured a pedestrian Atika Bano wife of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Donipawa near Donipawa, Anantnag. The injured was referred to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. A sumo ( JK09-3833 ) hit and injured a girl Kulsooma daughter of Ghulam Ahmad Hakeem resident of Putkhah on National Highway Putkhah, Tarzoo Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Tarzoo. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital for treatment.
