SS Lesson Summ. – Mon. “Throne Room” Praise (1 Min.) SDAH 21 Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise Unresting, unhasting and silent as light, Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might; Thy justice like mountains high soaring above Thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love. Prayer (1 Minute) Pray for God’s Holy Spirit guidance. Study (3 Mins.) Ps. 89:14”Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.” We usually follow after role models: we want to dress, act, sing, play, like them. Due to the amount of time we spend admiring them, and also observing them, we end up being like them. God as a sovereign ruler of the universe, independent from it is also the relational (loving) God as King of the earth too (Ps. 47:7). All His revelation of His throne room, is usually God acting for or speaking in behalf of the righteous here on earth, revealing His character to us! Imagine! God really wants to be our role model too! He wants us to look at Him as an example, which we too could live out… Just imagine His rule is based on justice and mercy, love and yet so fair! (Ps.89:14) and so He too wants us to be like Him, do justice and love mercy (Mic.6:8) with a world that is evil, unrighteous and unjust, as Christians we are to reflect God’s character, be like Him, which could only be brought about through spending time with Him like our role model and beholding Him through His Word! Prayer: God’s help to make Him as our role model in love!
