SSH ACTIVITIES TO CONTINUE ON DEC 12 The civic and cultural activities of the 2014 Sinadya sa Halaran Festival will continue starting Friday, December 12 after its postponement from last week’s original schedule due to Typhoon Ruby that hit the province. According to Al Tesoro, Head of the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affiars Office(PTCAO), “Saot Capiznon” Folk Dance Competition that will be participated by at least 8 dance troupes is set at 6 p.m. on December 12 in front of the Capitol building. The “ Parade of Festival” on the other hand will be on Saturday, December 12 and 15 contingents from the different municipalities as well as the City of Roxas are gearing up to showcase their respective festivities in 3 performance areas, Tesoro said in an interview over Radyo Budyong. The “Parade of Festival” performance areas are the city plaza, Burgos St and in front of the Capitol building. Meanwhile, the City Tourism Office (CTO) is still “finalizing” the new schedule of the remaining civic and cultural activities being handled by the City Government, said Dino Altobano, City Tourism Development Officer. The new schedule for the Barangay Night, Pasikat Abilidad, Daigon sa Plaza among others will be announced within the day, Altobano added.
