As a branch is to the vine, I am His and He is mine! Prayer (1 Minute) Pray for God’s Holy Spirit guidance. Study (3 Mins.) 2 Samuel 14:10 “And the king said, Whosoever saith ought unto thee, bring him to me, and he shall not touch thee anymore.” Every action has consequences! Do you agree? When I was young, when I didn’t do what I was told to do by my pa, I will get some nice whooping! But have you ever experienced a situation where a friend or sibling steps in and takes responsibility of the wrong action that you did? And they get the consequences? It doesn’t mean that the consequences disappear, but just someone else took the consequences for your action, and you are exonerated! Don’t you just love that person who took your blame even more? It’s the same with God. Sin has consequences, death (Rom. 3:23). Whichever sin it is, either it be unintentional, intentional or rebellious. BUT GOD! Don’t you just love that haha. God as a loving judge seeking to redeem and forgive the wrongs of His people, HAS TO TAKE the consequences, and BEAR OUR PUNISHMENT HIMSELF! (Compare with 2 Sam. 14:1-11). *Amazing love* Do you get why Jesus had to die? Would you like to ask Him to learn to accept His love, and live in love with Him even more? Yes you, He loves you! Prayer: God’s help to learn the price of sin, and love of God!
