ST 240 as catalyst: Two impending trail closures; one due to a private property crossing and the other because of newly sensitive habitat. Which is better? Wave it goodbye? Spend five years beating the enthusiasm out of our volunteers with soul crushing, hand built re-routes until they take up knitting in front of the TV? Or, knock out the new single track with the ST 240 and fertilize that enthusiasm via a couple of weekends of rewarding hand finishing they can brag about for decades? We’re proud of our customers Bureau of Land Management, Medford, Oregon blm.gov/or/districts/medford/index.phpfor for their work with the Siskiyou Upland Trail Association to reroute the Armstrong Gulch Trail and Northwest Trail Alliance nw-trail.org/ for their contribution to the reroute of the Henry Hagg Lake Trail in Northwest Oregon. Both of these projects were aided by the fast work of the ST 240.
