ST GEORGE’S CHOIR I am pleased to announce that Mr Scott Price has agreed to take on the running of the 11.15am choir at St George’s on the departure of Robert Jones. This is good news as Scott is already very experienced in the running of choirs as he is head of music at the Cardinal Vaughan School and Director of their Scola. You can find a small biography of him here: scholacantorum.co.uk/372/staff/ His intention is to begin on FRIDAY 13th FEBRUARY with choir practice. Same schedule with the boys starting at 6.45pm. Please do make every effort to welcome him and to be present on this date. In the intervening Sundays it is hoped that as many of you will be present. We will sing well known hymns and the English plainchant Mass setting as is in the new translation of the missal. All things we know already! As we now bid farewell to Robert it is good to know that his legacy will be continued and built upon. As Christians we should now all pray that this transition will bear much fruit in our parish.
