STACKING TYPE PLANTERS PREPARED ON MY KITCHEN TABLE By Joy Sones (Melbourne, Fl, USA) - I call this my Highrise Homestead. This is the beginning of being as self sufficient, in a senior studio apt., as I can be...lol. No balcony, but I have a 3 window expanses. My kitchen table is now the plant table. I used the stacking type planter. This is planted up with 3 choc. mint, 3 moss roses, one basil, one lemon thyme, 3 parsley, 1 rosemary. I have 2 more rounds I planted swiss chard , lettuce, and arugala, seeds in. This, in addition to sprouting, and maybe even vermicomposting under the kitchen sink, will be my efforts of Highrise Homesteading. The first two pics were at night...flowers still in bloom, and the other ones daytime.
