****START OF MY/OUR HURRICANE SEASON FORECAST**** DISCUSSION: I guess it is a good sign that hurricane season is starting to be discussed. This, obviously, means Sun getting much stronger here in the northern hemisphere thus the heating of the water within the tropics. BTW: Starting May 1st, I will initiate the good old SUN BURN OUTLOOK for the sunnier days....so yes we are really turning the tables towards true spring/summer. What I will do, similar to the winter outlook in early November, is give you folks the chance to read three or four experts and their view on this hurricane season. After this I will share my thoughts and give a finalized summation of what it looks like for HURRICANE SEASON 2014. (Experts include: TWC, Joe Bastardi (Weatherbell), NOAA-NWS, Colorado State) EXPERT OUTLOOK/FORECAST #1: THE WEATHER CHANNEL They actually do a nice job here of discussing the factors involved in last years, potentially this years, and overall in determining what kind of season.
