STARTLING news..{Oct.12th} ----------------------------------------- as at 2014.. TWO and HALF Million Australians live BELOW the Poverty Line..The ACOSS Report for 2014 stated that the Disabled,Aboriginal and Women were the hardest hit..with more than 600,000 children suffering Poverty.. =============================================== Yet our Govt. is spending $500 million to fight a useless, unending WAR in Iraq and/or Syria...spending Millions on Illegal boat people and listening to the Do_Gooders who keep telling us that the Boat people are NOT Illegals BUT it costs us Millions and now this Australian Govt. has given CAMBODIA $40 million to house FIVE Boat people taken from NAURU..which in itself, along with Manus Island/Christmas Island, costs Millions a year..and we just spent $7 BILLION buying Jets from the US..to fly bombing raids in Iraq AND: thru all this outrageous spending..we still have TWO and HALF Million Australians living BELOW the Poverty Line..and one of the highest Uemployment rates in Years..and our Govt. wants to CUT BACK on WELFARE Spending, pushing people to GET JOBS which are NOT there.,,and even this Welfare is known to be BELOW the Poverty Line. WHEN?? do Politicans take their heads OUT OF THE SAND????
