STATE NEWS OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma finance officials say revenue projections have increased enough to trigger an income tax in 2016. Secretary of Finance Preston Doerflinger (DOR-fling-ur) announced yesterday the estimate for general revenue fund collections for the upcoming fiscal year is about $60 million more than the estimate made in February 2013, thus triggering the cut. A seven-member board led by Governor Mary Fallin will meet Thursday to certify the final figures. OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Lawyers for 21 death row inmates say Oklahomas bungled execution in April is evidence they likely will experience pain and suffering from the states lethal injection protocol. Testimony is scheduled to continue today in a federal court in Oklahoma City where the inmates are challenging the states method of execution. Oklahomas next execution is set for January 15th. OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality says a gauge containing radioactive material has been stolen from the parking lot of an Oklahoma City hotel near Interstate 40. The gauge was in a trailer own by Missouri-based Midwest Testing that was also stolen. The trailer has Kentucky license plate 624-274 BEAVER, Okla. (AP) — State and local law enforcement authorities are working to eradicate feral swine that were illegally brought to the Oklahoma Panhandle and released which later tested positive for pseudorabies. Pseudorabies is a viral disease thats not considered a risk to humans, but can be transmitted to dogs, cattle, sheep, goats, cats and raccoons.
