STATE OF EMERGENCY! Taking a chronological assessment of the state of emergency imposed on Borno, Yo be and Adamawa states, will revealed little or no success in the nearly six months of its impositions.due to the in abilities of the government to brought in a permanent solutions to the problem. I fact it only succeeded in creating huge humanitarian crisis ever witness after the civil war of of late 60s not that the whole essence of the emergency was a mess but it created a myriad of problems.over the world such kind of situation always accompanied by well organized relief program, but in this case government went to the extent of denying its citizens as a demonstrations of its responsibility. Whats more warrisson is dramatic escalations and brazen attacks carried out by the renagade in recent days in which so many lives were lost in benishiek nearly a whole town was burn dawn in yo be according to officials source more than fifty lives were lost in konduga more seventy and along gamboru more than fifty were also death the list is endless, this situation questions not only the viability of the state of emergency but also its sincerity .one wonder if the peoples in charge of the affairs of the affected states are fully aware of the suffering inflicted on the people, for instance for instance when Katrina hit some part of America we saw how authorities responded, infact as some few days a go a special memorial service was organized for the victims of the disaster with president in attendance but here this crisis is on going for nearly five years with neither the government nor the private organization cares to do anything tengible to assist the victims. One wonders whats is the essence of the so called mordern beggers in the name of philanthropy with big offices in choice locations in Abuja parading the streets in hefty jeeps in a show of shame doing with all the money they are getting from abroad that they cannot donate to their brethren in need.one of our problems is we choose to live as individuals not as a society.is sad that apart from dangote and very few good Samaritans choose to ignore the suffering of this innocent lives getting killed and maimed. Charity is not throwing the bone to the dog,but sharing the bone with the dog when he is need,(London).what makes us human is our abilities to put a smile on face of our fellow brothers. You cant imagine spending an hour without your cell phone talkess of a day or even a week, but these are peoples that are forced to live for nearly six in communicado, some who has the have the travel for more than 200km just for them to communicate.many were ambushed on their way back home.another additional problem was the creations of what is called civilian JTF which if its not properly handled it will be another bad creations.I want to urge all well meaning Nigerians to donate generously to the victim of the crisis and opposed any attempt to extent the state of emergency.
