STATEMENT BY ABIGAIL ELORM MENSAH ON THE DISPUTED NDC DEPUTY NATIONAL YOUTH ORGANIZER ELECTIONS. I wish to express my profound gratitude to all the delegates for their tremendous support and confidence in me throughout the electioneering process. It is rather unfortunate that the the results were not declared due to the the concerns raised with some of the figures. I however remain focused and determined to ensure that the actual verdict of the people which was undoubtedly in my favour is respected. I want to urge my teeming supporters and agitated delegates to remain calm whiles I pursue justice in this issue. It is important to note that the NDC was built by men and women of courage who stood for Justice even in the face of intimidation. I am resilient and determined to fight for Justice not because it is a must for me to be the deputy national youth organizer but because we must protect the spirit and the ideas on which the NDC was established. As a principled and responsible member of the NDC, I will resort to the internal party structures and I plead with all of you to desist from violence, insults and personal attacks and the vilification of party officials.The Victory of the NDC in 2016 remains our primary focus.
