STATEMENT ON CAVITE INCIDENT (Update #4 as of August 11, 2013) Yesterday’s sea-borne and aerial surveys showed almost no indication of oil sheen. Today, we continue shore clean-ups in Rosario and Tanza. In Rosario, we have a medical team on the ground serving the needs of the community. Meanwhile, food packs are ready for distribution. We are working closely with LGUs of Rosario and Tanza to address the needs of their constituents and continue to survey the needs of other areas that may have been affected. We have also engaged a third-party to regularly conduct test samples of the soil, water and marine life quality of affected areas. We are closely coordinating with government agencies such as PCG, BFAR, and DENR to enhance our community assistance efforts.
