STATEN ISLAND NY Meet Little Miss Lexi! She is an absolutely adorable little bully mix. She was rescued by her fosters from a life of living outside as basically a yard dog. She was suffering from severe demodex mange and needed to be helped. Our fosters didnt hesitate to take her in and get her all the medical care that she needed. When Lexi first came into rescue she was so swollen. Her paws and body had hair loss and her parts of her body literally felt like elephant skin. Lexi has been and continues to go through treatment for mange. She received a negative skin scrap but her hair still has some growing in to do. Lexi is approx 1 1/2 yrs old. Shes a tiny little girl who is as sweet as can be. Lexi is great with all people and other dogs. She is crate trained; house trained and knows basic commands. Lexi is food motivated and will do anything for a treat. I dont think there is anyone who has met Lexi and not fallen in love! Lexi will be available for adoption soon!
