STEADFASTNESS IN PAIN Text: Job 27:1-10 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; my heart shall not reproach me as long as I live. ( Job 27:6). Inspite of Jobs predicament, He still trusted God. His friends insisted that he was suffering because of his evil deeds, but Job argued otherwise. He did examined himself and was sure beyond doubts, that he did no wrong. Job resolved to jealously guide his integrity, holding on to his righteousness and never succumb to the temptation of speaking evil or wickedness against God. He knew that if he compromise in any way, God would not hear his prayers, as the prayer of a sinner is an abomination unto Him. Job has a clear conviction of where he belonged and where he was going - Heaven. Whatever our situation is in life, if God has made us righteous, we must treasure it more than anything else. Wealth, fame and commendation of men will all die, but only righteousness will take us from earth to heaven. Therefore, remain resolute and steadfast in faith notwithstanding the situation. God bless you. Goodmorning!
