STELLA JEAN The Italo-Haitian fashion designer Stella Jean who lives in Camilluccia, a historical quarter of Rome, is an anthropologist of sorts. Her home, decorated in the seventeenth-century Genovese style with equal parts mid-century Italian, blends naïf art from the fifties and Haitian artifacts with Italian futurist art. Always researching far-flung cultures and their national dress, her collections are a tribute to her insatiable global curiosity.
