STEP OUT TRUSTINGLY! (You may share) Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” And their eyes were opened. (Matt.9:29-30a ESV) What brings about our faith filled thoughts and words to fulfilment, is revealed by Jesus in our text this day. When you act on God’s promise, He will bring His Word to pass in your life and circumstances. Our world, our situation, our circumstances have ears. Living and non-living materials have ears, and they hear the voice of God any moment He addresses them. Your very situation you may be facing now, has ears, and they respond to the Word of God. Jesus told these two blind men that they were receiving their sight according to their faith in God. The power of God is always available to heal, to help, to intervene, to turn things around. However, God requires us stepping out trustingly first. YOU HAVE THE FAITH TO MOVE THE MOUNTAIN Are you born again? Then you have faith. Faith was given to you by God in measure at your new birth. You grow that faith by meditating in the Word of God, and applying it into definite life situations, and needs. Don’t let the devil lie to you that you do not have enough faith. If you can trust your friend’s promise to you, why is it hard for you to trust God’s promise to you? God is good and willing to do much more for you than you can ever ask or think. Only ask. A friend told me she wants to go to college but the challenge is School fees. I gave her a Scripture and asked her to meditate on it. As she does that, God will speak to her with assurance that He will handle it. He will then give her further steps of instructions to follow. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. It may look ‘foolish’ in your own eyes. But do it. You will see the glory of the Lord. Is your challenge health or job, or business, or marriage? Whatever the Word of God says to you, whatever the Spirit of the Lord tells you to do, do it, and you shall have the desires of your heart (John 2:5a). Remember this that the hand of the Lord is not short that it cannot save! As you step out this day, the Lord is saying to you, “If you can believe that I am God, and that I am able to answer your prayer, and grant your hearts desire, then you ask me.” Put to work what you are learning, and watch out, and expect results. AS A BABY TRUSTS THE MOTHER, TRUST GOD LIKEWISE! Do not struggle to believe God. If you realise that you are struggling in trusting God, it means you need to give more time in the Word of God. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing, and hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) It is your faith in God (taking God at His Word, acting according to the Word of God) that causes you to see the supernatural HAND of God working in your life, in your circumstances, in your situations etc. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. Dont try to reason out how it will work. Your part is to step out trustingly and leave God to manifest the results out. This day, take the promises of God, and be at peace knowing that God means what you hear from His Word. Your world is turning around day by day as you believe God. Today, Gods promises you stand upon will work out for your own advantage. PRAYER Father, thank you for Your promises that never fail. I stand on your Word this day and walk in peace of mind, enjoying rest in you because all things are turning around in my life according to Your Word. Thank you Father in Jesus name. Jesus is Lord!
