STEPHEN HAWKING, GLUTEN-FREE AND VITAMIN D: I have just seen The Theory of Everything at the cinema. There was a line in the film that grabbed my attention “Don’t forget to administer Stephen’s Vitamin D when you land” his wife said. Stephen Hawking has suffered from Motor Neurone Disease for 51 years since being diagnosed at the age of 21. But the average life expectancy after diagnosis of MND is just 14 months. Stephen Hawking’s case, as agreed by the world’s most experienced neurologists, is fairly miraculous. Motor Neurone Disease is an Autoimmune condition as is Lupus, MS, Hashimoto’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. He appears to be relatively stable….” This is pretty incredible.
