STEVENS SACKED In a media statement tonight by the Glenelg Tigers in the wake of today’s court decision in Victoria, the Club advises that it has terminated the contract of senior coach Nick Stevens. As a proud family based community club we wish to make it very clear that we do not condone or tolerate domestic violence in any form. The Board has appointed Matthew Lokan as its senior coach for the 2015 season effective immediately. Between 2003-05 Lokan played 46 games (20 goals) for the Collingwood Football Club in the AFL including the 03 Grand Final against Brisbane He played 100-plus SANFL games with the Port Adelaide Magpies both before and after being drafted by Collingwood aged 20 in the 2002 AFL Draft with pick 70. Lokan also had a couple of seasons as playing coach of the Belconnen Magpies in the NEAFL before coming to the Bay as Football Manager last year.
