STILL LOOKING FOR THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PDP AND APC ?? AS PDP REFUSES TO SELL PRESIDENTIAL FORMS TO OTHER ASPIRANTS Two presidential aspirants who were at the Peoples Democratic Party national headquarters in Abuja to pick their presidential nomination forms on Tuesday were denied the opportunity to exercise their democratic right. The rejected PDP aspirants are Dr. Abdul-Jhalil Tafawa-Balewa and Prof. Akasoba Duke-Abiola. Tafawa-Balewa arrived first, the Bauchi man, who is the son of Nigeria’s First Republic Prime Minister, Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa, was rejected. Prof. Akasoba Duke-Abiola was also rejected. Reasons for closing all possibility of any aspirants aiming for the party’s ticket is that, all the caucuses of the party, including the National Executive Council, had already endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan as its sole presidential candidate, thereby leaving no room for any other aspirants to contest.
