STILL MISSING - Lansing NY Maki is still missing since Aug 25, 2014. Pom/Poodle, cream colored, female, 10 lbs at the time of disappearance. After a vet visit for her check-up and booster vaccinations, the vet suggested that her collar be loosened just a bit. Owners did as they were instructed. Later that week, Mom had to attend an event in NYC, Dad was away all day at school. He returned after school to take Maki out for a walk, she had expected Mom to be with him and was frantic to see her too. When he took her outside, she backed out of her collar and ran into the woods. Maki was tracked through the woods to Bomax, Warren Rd, and then into the Tompkins Regional Airport parking lot, where the tracking dogs lost her scent. After an exhaustive search, and contacting countless organizations, businesses, and the continued canvassing of the Ithaca/Lansing NY area, we have not received a single sighting. Please, Please, if youve seen Maki or a dog matching her description that has shown up in the neighborhood in the past two months, contact us. No questions asked. The family is devastated. They have loved and cared for Maki since the day of her birth. PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE!! THANK YOU ALL! From Makis momma: Thousands of flyers are out there, but no information about her at all.
