STILL ON THE SUBJECT OF SINGING...... I love Whitney Houston and Celine Deon--two fine Divas---but I think they both could not hold a candle to the this Diva from up Harlem, baby. She does 5 octaves---and thats five with caps-----FIVE. I saw her in concert long ago and I am hooked to addiction---a habit I wish not to cure. Ladies and gentlemen meet the woman with one of the longest notes on record to date----LADY MELBA MOORE---the real Diva. To sing a song like AGE OF AQUARIUS in Hair or to sing LEAN ON ME and emerge without blood in the stool or heart seizure is no accomplishment by mediocre. Check out her long note here.
