STOP BLAMING YOURSELF There are things that happen, which we have no control over, yet for some reason we take responsibility for them. We begin to analyze and rationalize the situation in our minds and then contemplate what we could’ve done differently. We think to ourselves how did we not see this coming? Listen, this is not going to change what happened. You can’t possibly figure everything out. If you truly believe with all your heart that God is in control, then why would you think that you could have stopped something from happening? I believe that God allows things to happen for reasons beyond our understanding. The bible says that God’s ways are higher and His thoughts are higher. Isaiah 55:9“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. There are things that happen that are hard to understand, but you have to trust God’s judgment. God doesn’t want you walking around blaming yourself for something that wasn’t your fault. People make their own choices. I know this is hard to accept, but you have to try. You have to come to terms with this. You have to know that you did the best you could do. You are not responsible for others choices. STOP BLAMING YOURSELF for what others have done. You are responsible for your choices and no one else. I know you wish things could’ve have been different. But if you live in what could have been you will forget what you have right now. The enemy wants you to live in the past hurt and pain. He wants you to live in regret. It’s time for you to let go of all your thoughts and ideas and trust God with everything that has happened. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; When you learn to lean on God completely and trust Him with your whole heart, then there is no need to analyze and rationalize anymore; because you know that God has your best interest at heart. God will bring His perfect peace to your life. He will heal your brokenness. Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. You are not alone on this journey. God is with you every step of the way. Have a blessed day! ~~Michelle Thomas~~
