STOP CAR JAMMING IN PINELANDS: There have been numerous posts about people having their cars jammed and contents (bags, laptops, wallets) then stolen in Pinelands. Car jamming is a skilled profession. People do it full time again and again and fill up their houses with other peoples stolen goods. It is probably the same culprits. There is a simple solution to this: Car jammers expose themselves twice: Firstly when they steal the goods out of the car. Secondly when they use the stolen goods (e.g. buy something with a stolen credit card). Both times they can and are very often be captured on CCTV - and the transaction time on the credit card can be used to select the CCTV image when they buy something. That means their FACE and their CAR is captured on CCTV. Nevertheless, because car jamming is a low threshold crime (compared to eg. murder), the police dont have too much time to put into chasing each case. But the point is that these are repeat criminals so it is worth trying to catch them. If you can get the company with the CCTV footage to share it - and extract the face image and car image including if possible number plate - then this information can be used to trace the culprits. This requires obviously that those who have the CCTV footage are willing to share it.
